Battle of the concealers | Estee Lauder, Revolution and Maybelline

I have the most annoying under eye area of all time, I swear it! I have really dark bags, it is scaly/textured and creased like a mother****** on top of my really water eyes and oily skin, finding a concealer has been HARD!

When I say I have tried so many different types of concealers I couldn’t even count, I mean it. But after constant looking I think I have finally found the top 3, so far… I need to try Kat Von D and Fenty too.

1. Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer – £24.00

  • Pigmentation: 4
  • Formula: 4 (Thin)
  • Longevity: 5
  • Waterproofness: 4

2. Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer – £4.99

  • Pigmentation: 4
  • Formula: 3.5 (Thick)
  • Longevity: 3.5
  • Waterproofness: 4

3. Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer – £8.99

  • Pigmentation: 3.5
  • Formula: 3.5 (Very thin)
  • Longevity: 3.5
  • Waterproofness: 4

All the concealers are great.

Maybelline is a thin almost watery formula and is pretty good at hiding those bags and is really easy to get your hands on.

Revolution is super cheap, it is a thicker formula and is really great for highlighting as well. But you can only find it online and in Superdrugs plus it doesn’t come in a huge shade range.

Estee Lauder, Estee Lauder is my favourite and I only really tried it on a whim. My thinking was ‘I loved the foundation, maybe the concealer would be great too.’ And I was right, I like thin formulas because of the texture of my skin and though not as thin as Maybelline the colour pay-off is amazing. It comes in a wide range of colours and matches my skin perfectly. It is pricey and is only found online or at an Estee Lauder counter so that might be an issue for you but it is my new go-to concealer.
