The best translucent powder

Over the years I have tried many, many different types of translucent powders and I think I have found the best one.

One thing you need to know about me is I have the oiliest skin and I was powdering the hell out of my face well before translucent powder became a thing. So to help you out your girl has put together a small list of all of my favourite translucent powders.

1. RMCA no-colour powder – £13.00

This is my holy grail of translucent powders. This gives you no flash back, it is finely ground and for me leaves no residue. It is the perfect powder for everyday use and lasts months.

  • Lasts up to 2-3 months
  • Affordable
  • Cruelty free
  • Vegan friendly

2. e.l.f. High Definition Powder Sheer – £7.50

This powder is a lot different to other translucent powders as the ‘grains’ are a lot larger and give the skin a very silky look. It is a very interesting powder in that it leaves absolutely no residue but somehow sets your foundation.

  • Lasts up to 1 months
  • Affordable
  • Cruelty free
  • Vegan friendly

3. Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder – £26.10

Now, I know, I know that is a lot of money to spend on a translucent powder and to that I say you are absolutely right, the price tag is absurd. But I can’t deny that is a good powder, it is so finely milled that is just melts into you skin and doesn’t make you look cakey at all.

  • Lasts up to 1-2 months
  • Cruelty free
  • Vegan friendly
